Welcome

Initially developed in 1986, the Red Mountain Subdivision is located in the northwestern corner of Durham County, North Carolina in the town of Rougemont.

The highest elevation in Durham County resides in the Red Mountain Subdivision.

The neighborhood is self-governed under the name of Red Mountain Owners, Inc. by an elected Executive Board.

Red Mountain features:

- large, wooded lots
- no through streets
- a community Clubhouse
- a community Swimming Pool
- Barn and Pastures
- a scenic Overlook
- nearby golf course
